SXSW With A Festival NFT
In an announcement today highlighting the merchandise offerings at South By Southwest (SXSW) 2022, the Austin, TX festival shared that there will be hats, tees, tote bags, posters, and naturally, NFTs. The fest will release their own PFP character, titled ‘SXSCritter,’ according to today’s release, next week on March 11.
Latest Mint: CVS Next On The Block
Brands have been pouring into NFTs for the past year or so now, and the latest non-traditional brand to do so is seemingly healthcare retailer CVS Health. A trademark application filing from late February was revealed today, showing details that the brand is looking to trademark its logo for use within virtual goods, NFTs, an online store, and more.

The ‘Minty Fresh’ Take
Not the freshest take of the Mint, but… despite the high hopes around Pixelmon, it looks like the fruits of the labor lied solely in ‘Kevin’ memes. Unfortunate. As pioneering crypto sleuth @zachxbt notes, the Pixelmon team is seemingly securing the bag. Pixelmon team social accounts still insist that they will see the project through.
