5% of Shiba Eternity proceeds to be burned

The Shiba Inu [SHIB] ecosystem broadened its reach by veering into video games. Shiba Eternity, the network’s very own collectible card game was recently made available for Australian residents. While the product is yet to launch worldwide, Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of the SHIB network has been sharing updates about the game. Recently, Kusama not only unveiled new cards part of the game but also shed light on a collaboration between the game and its burning mechanism.

Kusama revealed on Shiba Inu’s official Discord channel, how the community could aid in the overall development of the network. The developer announced that by merely downloading the game the community could drive it to the top of the app stores. In turn, the game would be able to garner revenue from those outside the Shiba Inu community as well.

He further affirmed that the network would burn 5 percent of all profits acquired from Shiba Eternity.

Shiba Inu and its burns have been rather controversial. Despite the entire community engaging in this activity, the price of Shiba Inu hasn’t witnessed major changes. Therefore, developers are often flooded with messages on how they should burn the entire supply of SHIB. Addressing the same, Kusama said,

“To burn [more Shiba Inu], we have to implement a plan like the one you are seeing. It’s funny we’re working on that, [but] burning billions of dollars is no easy task. Trust me.”

New cards from Shiba Eternity unveiled

Shytoshi Kusama has been sharing details and revealing cards that are part of the collectible card game. In his recent Discord appearance, the lead developer shared a total of 13 cards. A few of them were,

Over the years, these Shiba Eternity is expected to span over multiple planets. He even suggested that there would be 500 Shiba Eternity cards in the near future.

In addition to this, Kusama took to Twitter and lauded an individual who held the first position on Shiba Eternity’s leaderboard.
